What is Central Plains Center?

  • Central Plains Center is a community mental health center that provides an array of services for people who reside in Hale, Floyd, Lamb, Motley, Bailey, Briscoe, Swisher, Castro and Parmer Counties. Services are provided to individuals who meet our specific admission criteria. Please see information listed under each service type. CPC is not a state or county agency, however we do contract with state agencies to provide services in your community.

 

What if I can’t afford services, or am not able to pay for services?

  • Central Plains Center services are not free, however we do serve individuals with little to no income based on a sliding scale. Fees are determined after a financial assessment is completed. CPC also bills commercial insurances, Medicaid, Medicare and Chip.

 

How do I get my child seen for Early Childhood Intervention?

  • If you are concerned that your child may have a developmental delay or disability, call ECI to make a referral806-291-4416. Next, an ECI professional will provide an evaluation to determine if your child is eligible and will discuss with you the need for services.
