Family Partners

Family Partner services are a peer mentoring and support provided by Certified Family Partners to the primary caregivers of a child who is receiving mental health community services. This may include introducing the family to the treatment process; modeling self-advocacy skills; providing information, making referrals; providing non-clinical skills training; assisting in the identification of natural/non-traditional and community supports. Family Partners are the parent or LAR of a child or youth with a serious emotional disturbance and have at least one year of experience navigating a child-serving system
